Who really cares about the past? Martin is presently in a "future only" mode :)
Martin's drumming is mostly inspired by: Neil Peart, Carl Palmer, Terri Bozzio, Stewart Copeland, Mike Portnoy, Ronnie Vannucci, and numerous other drummers.
Martin's Equipment:
Acoustic Drum Kits:Kit # 1: Yamaha Stage Custom 7 piece mounted on a Gibraltar rack. All Zildjian "A" cymbals. A 13" Zildjian custom high hat on a Pearl remote cable mount. Tama Iron Cobra double bass kick pedals. Kit # 2: Old ( 1980 ) CB-700 7 piece on the Gibralter rack with all the above cymbals.
Electronic Drum Kit: Roland TD-10 V-Concert Series with two extra PD-7 trigger pads. Tama Iron Cobra double bass kick pedals.
